Booked this hotel with airline points so I thank Gawd I didnt spend my own cash on this dump.
When I entered office at 11pm there was a mini-convention with the clerk's friends in the "lobby," a 10x10 room. This quickly disappeared. I was charged $5 for the wifi, which isn't very fast.
Once my wife & I got to the room we were very displeased, but we had been driving 10+ hours all day so we inspected the bathroom: clean but paper thin towels & no frills, turned down the bed: sheets were clean but had obviously been left in the dryer for a loooong time because of all the weird wrinkles.
We quickly got to bed & fell asleep..... KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!! Holy Smokes somebody is knocking at my door! My wife freaks out telling me not to open it, which I had no intention. As I peeked out I saw the "Manager/Clerk" with her clipboard walking into the room next door. My wife & I had seen this room when we entered, the drapes were open and both beds unmade, we figured it didnt have maid service that day. But why was the clerk knocking at our door 40 minutes after we checked in?
The bed was fine as far as comfort, but the sheets old, the bed spread was nasty & torn so I tossed it to the side. Good hot water. This is all I can say nice about the place.
This facility was probably NICE when it opened in 1990, lol. But time & no updating has taken its toll. There is a Cracker Barrell down the block for you big eaters.
As one other wrote- do not take your wife here unless she is fine with 1 & 2 star joints, my wife is not.
