I stayed here once a few years ago, it was very nice and clean and I loved it, so when a family member had surgery I quickly booked the suite again for my family. I was so shocked of the condition, the first thing was the smell, it was horrible I cannot explain it, the room was dirty, I went to the desk and asked for a new room they had none, they said the cleaning staff was understaffed?? I asked for cleaning supplies, my mother and I cleaned wiped down what we could and opened the windows to air out. There was strange stains on the sofa and floor, chips in the sofa bed, hair on the tub!! The smell in the hall never went away, I wonder if they ever found a dead body in one of the rooms, I have never smelled anything like that in my life. Like rotten meat. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.....

Studio Plus is owned by Extended Stay America, so if you've stayed at one of those, everything will be very familiar. They have limited housekeeping, so your bed doesn't get made every day, but that's fine with me since I don't like hotel maids bugging me to come in the room. I got assigned this hotel via a bid on Priceline, and overall I was satisfied. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. They let me do a late checkout at noon instead of the usual 11 a.m. Wireless internet is available for $5 extra for your entire stay, but since local calls are free, you can just do dial up as well.
The fitness room has 4 pieces of cardio equipment plus a TV. On the first floor there are washers and dryers that cost $1 each. After dropping something on the floor, I noticed that the area under the bed had probably never been cleaned as there was much debris there, otherwise everything seemed clean. I would rate the place as just average, but certainly not "the worst hotel ever" as another reviewer wrote. It's actually nice, and similar to any other Extended Stay property. For the price you pay here, you certainly get your money's worth, and I would stay here again.

The first time Priceline "rip me off." I got the hotel cheap, but still I think I did overpaid. The hotel location is good. However, the hotel conditions are really bad. The rooms aren't clean (including the fridge, silverware, bathroom, etc.) The sofa looks like one of those sofas from the '80s and the chairs are like from the 70s. I was lucky I was upgraded, I can't imagine the room they normally give to priceliners... The worst part was when someone called my room more than three times, waking me up in the middle of the night... Management didn't seem to care about this... I did saved some $$$, but I did suffer 500% of that amount saved. If you can, stay at the Candlewoods, it's brand new compared to the others in the area...
