This hotel has a very "different" layout, with all the rooms arranged around a central area, in two layers - an inner layer and an outer layer, separated by a hallway. In the central area, there is a pool, the breakfast area (lots of seating, but mostly arranged in tables of two, not very convenient for families), a lounge area, and a game room. The pool was nice and warm, but doesn't open till 10 in the morning (bummer if you want to swim for exercise).
The room was fine - the beds weren't the greatest, but they weren't unusually terrible either - and overall it was a bit cramped, but again, nothing unbearable.
The one problem we had was since we had an inner room, we didn't get any natural light in our room, which was a bit disorienting. Since the central area was always kind of dim, our room often felt dark.
However, the price was right, and the drive into downtown Little Rock is so quick that it doesn't make sense to pay more to stay down there. There is even a free shuttle that will take you downtown if you don't want to drive! Free cookies and popcorn near the front door were another plus. Also, we were very impressed with the friendliness of the desk agent who checked us in.
