“Luxury at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

I recently stayed at The Empress of Little Rock in their luxury Hemmingway Suite. I cannot begin to explain how elegant this room is. Not only is it is so very pleasing to the eye but it is large and roomy!!! My only regret is that I only got to stay in the Hemmingway Suite one night. I would highly recommend the Hemmingway Suite as a lovely get-away. It is so very charming and it’s décor is remarkably beautiful. I love the fireplace and the large (spa) bath.

As always, the breakfast served by hostess, Ms Jessica, was beyond delicious ~ she is always gracious. The evening shift hostess, Ms Deborah, goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and always performs a nice touch of turn down service. I have stayed at The Empress of Little Rock several times over the last year. In my opinion, everything about the lovely B&B is perfect and it seems like my home away from home! Oh yes, I will definitely visit again!!

“New Year's Stay at the Empress of Little Rock”

Our New year’s Stay at the Empress in Little Rock

My wife, Stephanie, and I traveled to lovely Little Rock to visit my family and bring in the New Year with some old fashioned 1889 style. The Empress is a lovely home and our four nights spent in the Washburn-Welch room were exceedingly pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was prepared with care displaying a variety of culinary delights that provided us the energy we needed for our adventures exploring the lovely city of Little Rock. We shopped shops in the Heights and Hilchrest, we took a tour of the Clinton Center and Market Street, and we even climbed Pinnacle Mountain. What en excellent way to enjoy the coming of a New Year and celebrate the joys of life.
Thank you Bob, Sharon, Deborah, and Jessica for a wonderful stay in your lovely home we really had a good time and will be planning future trips to stay in luxury at the Empress and find more adventures in Little Rock.
Sincerely,
John and Stephanie Courson

Room Tip: Make sure to check out the shops and eat at Cheers in the Heights district for lunch.

“Real Victoriania”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

This B&B is in a huge Victorian mansion in Little Rock's former mansion historic district. Near Christmas, the place was decked out with every Christmas knick knack you can imagine.

The mansion was restored to perfection and is the kind of place that has a small chat area near a fire for every guest. Very elaborate and luxurious.

Owners and staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.

Room Tip: all of the rooms are full of character. if you are with a friend and want separate beds, request th...

“Wedding dreams come true”

My fiancee...now husband and I dont have much money. But a wedding at the Empress was SO affordable; and it sacrifices nothing! We had a beautiful garden wedding that was simply enchanting; we stayed in the hemingway suite and had breakfast in bed no less! We could only stay one night but are already planning to stay at the empress in spring and then again for our anniversary next year. The staff is AMAZING and I was impressed with how simple things were to arrange the wedding while working full time with LOTS of overtime hours. I really didnt have to do anything but show up! Thanks to Jessica for setting up the wedding and Deborah was so much fun and was gracious when bringing us breakfast. We recommend this to anyone planning a wedding or just want a beautiful getaway!

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful
