First let me say that if you are looking for luxury or frills, this is not the place for you. However if you enjoy the charm of an old hotel (woodwork, high celings, old marble floors) and are looking for a lower priced hotel in the downtown area, then I do recommend the Legacy. We are a family of 5 with teenagers, always looking for the most bang for our buck. We stayed on the second floor in the front section (the oldest part) of the hotel, and we had 2 queens, a love seat, chair, writing desk, microwave, and fridge; the room was actually quite spacious. The bathroom was more spacious than some of the newer hotels where we stayed on this trip, with some original fixtures (faucets) that added charm and a newer granite countertop. There are some areas with signs of wear, a little corner of peeling paint, or slightly worn carpet, but the room felt and appeared very clean. Comfortable beds and decent air conditioning (only a little loud - I have heard much, much louder. The outside doesn't look like much anymore, and the parking lot is crumbling, but it is free, and there is a (very minimal) free continental breakfast provided off the lobby. So no, it's not super fancy, but it was good for our purposes....sleeping and getting ready. Close and convenient to the State Capitol and not too far from Central HS, and the older part of downtown w/the old capitol museum, Clinton library etc. We enjoyed our stay in Little Rock.
