The rooms were dirty, bathrooms w/ mold, hallways and elevator were very dirty. My wife and kids were startled by the dogs barking in the hallways (felt like a zoo). We stayed here periodically for about two years, but quit coming despite manager appeasements b/c it was so bad. We came back this last trip after word that it had been renovated. Turns out that a renovation is being planned and a new manager is in place. The mgr has a great attitude and is taking actions to better the hotel. We will not stay here until its renovated.

The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The manager changed our room to one closer to the lobby for our convenience because we have dogs. The room was clean and kept up well. The hotel was quiet and conducive to rest. I felt the continental breakfast was great, but my husband felt it was so- so.

I stayed here with some friends for ATA World Championships and while it may not have been the best hotel I've ever stayed at, it certainly wasn't the worst. This place is certainly on the cleaner side of 2-star hotels that I've stayed at. The free breakfast is pretty limited, and the only hot food was a "do-it-yourself" waffle maker. The hotel is close to several good, inexpensive restaurants and is located in a nice, quiet area. From the hotel to downtown, it took me roughly 10 minutes. The hotel staff was very friendly, and I don't think I was able to walk in or out of the hotel without being greeted. I would certainly recommend this place to travelers on a budget and would stay here again.

This La Quinta is not as nice as others I have stayed at. However, it's cheap and in a decent location with a private garage. I have stayed there probably 7 or 8 times for business and it is just fine. Decently clean and comfortable, but nothing to rave about.
