We stayed here 2 nights for a soccer tourney in Jan. Haven't stayed at a Springhill in a long time but this Hotel was nice. Rooms are spacious and we enjoyed having a fridge/sink/microwave. 2 flat-screen tv's were nice but seemed over kill since the were so close together-one at the end of each bed. Breakfast was good and they had hot food-eggs, sausage, etc. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Only 2 complaints, when we walked in we noticed a sock left on floor near bed (kind of funny actually), later we noticed hair in the tub, & when putting groceries in the fridge we noticed crumbs/pieces of cheese at the bottom. Made u wonder how well they actually clean. My biggest concern was when we were packing up our stuff to leave on Sun. the maid just opened the door--no knock, no "hello room service", no heads up-just someone standing in our room all of sudden, asking when we were leaving (it was almost 10am). We had a late check out scheduled too. After wards, I bolted the door but about an hour later I hear someone trying to open the door again. A few minutes later I left the room with my last load of bags, coats, etc the minute I walked out I noticed a maid come from another room and go straight into my room, again no knock or warning just straight in, for all she knew my son could have still been in there changing clothes. This is very concerning to me, to know someone would just walk in your room with out the courtesy to let you know ahead of time, or if we had both gone to breakfast at the same time, someone could have walked in our room with all our valuables (laptop, purse, camcorder, etc) just sitting out because we think its okay to leave out since we are just downstairs eating breakfast. I have tried to talk to a manager but have been unable to yet.
