First, the positive: the hotel is located in a quiet area away from traffic, with close access to restaurants, etc. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in our king-bed room, although the room itself was a bit small. Maid service was excellent.
Problems: We booked this because of the advertised heated pool, but when we went to use it (in mid-November), the water was cold and there were leaves in the bottom. We asked for the heat to be turned up and were told the pool manager was gone for the weekend and there was nothing they could do. They also advertise a hot tub, but we never saw one. The front desk woman was nice when you could get her attention away from chatting on the internet or her cell phone with her boyfriend. She also failed to give me back my credit card, and then said I had left it at the desk (I'll be watching my account). We booked a second room for a friend and had requested a fridge in her room in advance. No fridge, so they made her change her room to another floor rather than find a fridge for her. Both our rooms requested wakeup calls, which didn't happen. Luckily we woke up in time to make a meeting. Good thing we got a discount on the rooms with a club membership, or we would have been pretty upset at their full price and their failure to deliver what was advertised.
