This hotel is awful. Do not stay here. The rooms are not at all like they are shown on the website. Musty and old. Staff was rude. Knocked on the door at 8:30. Didn't answer because the do not disturb sign was posted. They came back at 10:50 and wondered if we were staying another night. Really? You don't have this on file?

I just want to warn any travelers that this hotel is radically different from how it's pictured on their website. Don't believe for a second that you'll be in a room with fluffy down comforters and an abundance of pillows. They make it look cozy and upscale; this outdated property is anything but. I'm shocked they have a 3 star rating. For $110 per night I expected way more than threadbare carpets, rank hallways, and a bathroom with visible mold.

A few other reviewers have noted the hard beds. Unless you like it that way, and I don't, you won't be in for a good night's rest. In the morning I didn't bother with the free breakfast because I just wanted to get out of there. And not surprisingly nobody at the front desk asked how my stay was.

As a business traveler I stay in 75 hotels a year, and I am actually pretty forgiving for little mistakes. With that said the Stratford Court Hotel is the WORST hotel that I have stayed at in years. It was one of only a couple of three star hotels in Cedar City which is the best they have. To say that this hotel was not labeled correctly is a dramatic understatement. I would not give it above a one-star and that is generous.

Check-in was fine, but the room was not. There were holes in the couch, the lights next to the bed did not work, and the shower was broken. The whole hotel looked rundown with faded carpeting everywhere. The "breakfast" was some do-it-yourself waffles and the coffee/juice machine was broken. Also the walls were paper thin and you could hear kids running up and down the hall until all hours. I wish that I had something positive to say, but I can't think of anything. Just stay away. Anything has to be better.

very dirty... when we arrived the first thing that was said was, "omg what have we done, were in the bad part of town.' the walls were stained & the toilet paper wasnt new... the beds were hard as bricks & the pillows look fluffy but sank straight to the bed! so disappointed. i could here the wind outside (our view was a wall 1 foot away!!!), went to go close the window & the screen had crashed and fallen outside and was all ripped up and had happened to someone else thankfully. the window closed after much force. the lamp had no light nob on it, so i set the timer on the tv and fell asleep. to much dismay i woke up 17 times during the night (yes i actually started to count after 3!) i could not sleep with the light on. when i was awake, there was one single switch on the wall not even close to the lamp that turned it on/off.... who does that?? very upset because i didnt sleep well at all because of that lamp. the place had NO ELEVATOR!!!!! so do not pack heavy!!! dont stay here even if it is your last resort.... never going back!
