The experience I had at this hotel will live in infamy. My Mom and I stayed here on our way to the Grand Canyon. It was one of the only options in the town at midnight due to a marathon event happening in a town close by. It was either this or stay in our car, we should have taken the second option. Where shall I begin with the horifying details?? The front desk attendant did not speak english, there was breakfast stuff out from the day before at midnight in the lobby, yuck! The glass on the entrance door to the lobby was filthy and it smelled like cigarrettes and body odor. Our room was absolutely filthy. We slept in our clothes and used our suitcases for pillows. Our door did not shut and lock properly either, so we spent a pretty sleepless night. The bathroom was atrocious, stains everywhere as if it had not been cleaned in several months, we did not take showers. To top it all off, we found a pile of TOENAILS ( I kid you not) by one of the beds by the nightstand. Never, never, never stay here...sleep in your car or drive to the next town.

Okay I looked online and the hotel and the pictures and description were what I was looking for. So I go to check-in and wait for some assistance. While waiting I look to my left and there is a small 5 foot counter with a cherrio dispenser and some plastic spoons and bowls and I think to myself, this can't possibly be the "continental breakfast" they bragged about. Well it was the next morning the manager added a loaf of wonder bread and a jar of grape jelly, also a pitcher of orange juice, milk and a cravat of coffee. What a disappointment!! Now about the room, the sink wouldn't stop running, the tub leaked and the carpet was so dirty it made my feet black! The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable and I went for a swim and found beer cans in the pool. Now I know this sound like someone making up something to get back at someone but I swear every bit is the honest truth, it was the worst place I have ever stayed! I will never stay there again and I would recommend looking elsewhere to stay.

Unfortunately I found my room was not as clean as expected. Such as: hair in both the tub and sink, soap scum on the sink, trash on the floor by the bed, crumbs by the microwave. Also the bottom sheet was not all the way on, only about 2/3 was covering the bed, under the pillows the sheet was left off the mattress.
I did appreciate the fridge, coffee maker and microwave.

We stayed here in September 2004 and used it as an overnight stopover only. Motel style, the room was clean and comfortable with a refridgerator and adequate bathroom. A free continental style breakfast (doughnuts, cereal and coffee) was also included in the price which we were able to collect and take back to our room.

Plenty of eating options locally and we ate at the steak-house next-door. There was also a small pool although we didn't use it.

Recommended as a place to stop over for the night.
