“Coudnt have been better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2010

I had my wedding at willow glen inn and it was just a wonderful location. They set everything up and do all the food so i had nothing to worry about. When i showed up it was all set up and looked just beautiful. The wedding was just wonderful and romantic. The reception was so much fun we had a DJ which was nice cause he got the relatives who didn't want to dance to do it. and the food was good and just what i had imaging. we had servers who made sure everyone got a plate of food. we chose to have a bunch of order vs and a slice of wedding cake on one plate served to each guest. it was everything the manger had told me it would be, we had walked through during the winter so i had no idea it was that beautiful in the summer. i loved the rustic buildings and how there are so many trees around. And the grounds where so green and lush and while maintained my family enjoyed walking around seeing all the different plants and hearing all the different song birds. After the reception we stayed in the tree room which was big and nice and has a nice deep jetted tube. also a little fridge and microwave and wireless internet. the bed was comfortable and has a nice curtain that goes across the side the windows are on so no light will come in, in the morning and wake you up that was such a wonderful thing to have. and the breakfast was nice they had pastries and fresh fruit and yogurt, cold cereal then there was hot stuff french toast and scrambled eggs and hash brown and sausage. also at breakfast the innkeepers came out and talked to us and made sure we where enjoying our selfless i loved it and will be going back again

My wife and son stayed in the garden room at Willow glen inn, and we found the room and the grounds to be most relaxing and peaceful . set away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

“Horrible Service!!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2009

I held my wedding here and there were so many promises that the owners/managers made to me that weren't delivered. First of all, they promised that the kitchen would be stocked and cooks would be there the entire reception to make sure that all of the guests were fed. Thirty minutes after the reception started the cooks and servers left when I had paid for them to be there the entire two hours. Also, there wasn't enough food to feed all of my guests. Second of all, I had planned to have the tables and chairs on the patio. There was too much sun on the patio, so they suggested that the table and chairs be moved to the lawn. I assumed that the lawn would be mowed when I agreed to this, yet the lawn was not mowed and we had to walk in knee high grass to socialize. It was a nightmare. For the amount of money I paid to have my wedding held there I expected much much more. Don't get me wrong the grounds were gorgeous; I was just very disappointed with the service.

“Just what we wanted”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2008

A really nice romantic getaway.
I have family in the area and needed a place to stay with my fiancée north of Cedar city so we picked Willow Glen from the online description. Last year we stayed in the Barn room and this year we tried the View room. The ambiance and decor was perfect for a little quiet time for us to share. The View room has a wonderful little bay window with a little table and chairs that opens to a superb peaceful setting. If you are looking for electronic distractions, bellboys, or other intrusive clutter, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a quiet getaway and just the right amount of service, I couldn’t recommend a better retreat. We loved the place and plan to be back every chance we get.

“Very Romantic and Restful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2008

After reading a couple of previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive to stay at the Willow Glen. However, our experience there exceeded all of our expectations.

We stayed in the Tuscany Villa, or Anniversary Suite. It was by far the cleanest, most private, and tastefully decorated B&B room we have ever stayed in. The room is divided into three main areas, the bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom/spa. We appreciated all of the lighting options. All of the furnishings, floorings and fixtures were very beautiful, comfortable and classy.

The room is heated by a gas fireplace that was very cozy and romantic. We enjoyed sitting by the fire after a long day of cross country skiing, and it was very romantic to watch the firelight flickering as we drifted off to sleep in the huge comfy bed.

The room was furnished with hot beverages, microwave popcorn, a microwave, and mini-fridge that came in very handy. They also provided a package of yummy Ghiradelli chocolates that we snacked on.

The breakfast was excellent. We stayed during the middle of the week so we were the only guests. Each morning we ate our breakfast and were delighted to find many options to choose from. There were hot items like sausage, eggs, and french toast,, and cold items like pastries, yogurt, and cold cereal.

The only suggestions I have for the inn is to provide bath robes in the rooms with jacuzzis, and to provide a bottle of bubbly juice with champagne glasses.

I would highly recommend the Anniversary Suite at Willow Glen to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. I would especially recommend visiting during the winter, during the middle of the week , if possible. The room, however, is very private and would be great anytime I am sure.

  • Liked — It was beautiful and secluded.
  • Disliked — It was a long way from our home.
