Combining the Utah Shakespearean Festival with a stay at Amid Summers Inn is a wonderful getaway from the Wasatch Front. It's a fun drive. The hosts are competent, thorough, helpful and relaxed. The food is good and it's fun to chat with the other people staying there. The plays and venue are top notch. We like being able to walk to and from the Festival from the B&B. And we enjoy the improvements that they've made to the Inn over the years we've been staying there.

I loved my first stay here so much that I came back again. The innkeepers go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to be sure that you enjoy your stay. The room was beautiful and the murals made me feel like I was sleeping under sky, the room was Sr. Francis Drake. The food was wonderful and just kept coming; I didn't even need to eat lunch. The location was close to the plays and shopping. I can't wait to schedule my next visit and enjoy the great hospitality and relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed at the Amid Summers Inn during a trip to Cedar Breaks. The inn was nice; however, Charlene was not very accommodating when scheduling a room for a one night stay. I postponed my original stay providing a 12 day notice due to a forest fire in the area which compromised the rest of our trip and attempted to reschedule a week or two. She was focused on leaving the rooms available for travelers staying more than one night and was very rigid in rescheduling my reservation. After a lengthy discussion determining when she was willing to book I ended up postponing my trip a month to accommodate her. A week prior to our departure I contacted her to confirm only to receive another non-committal response. It took a total of 3 phone calls for her to reschedule and commit to the reservation. The Tudor Rose was smaller than anticipated and didn’t have a closet or a wardrobe and the view outside the window was stucco from the addition to the building. I didn’t see Charlene during our stay but Gary was very nice, very attentive and a REALLY good cook.

We really loved our stay at Amid Summer's Inn. The Inn keepers, Gary and Charlene, are so friendly and accommodating. Our room was absolutely beautiful with a large Jacuzzi and a very comfortable bed. It was in a great location and the breakfasts were so-o delicious!
