This was my first time to Cedar City and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. I found this B&B listed on this website and checked it out. It is literally a block or two from the theaters. The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and a garden in the back. She has a small parking area in the back for the guests. She has sitting areas in the garden. She serves fresh and fantastic items for breakfast. The entire house is very clean along with the rooms. The area is so quiet. The rooms are beautifully furnished and each room has it's own bathroom. The owner, Mary Beth, is very nice and helpful. We are coming back in the Fall and we already reserved our rooms. She has free Wi-fi available.

Stratford Bed and Breakfast and its delightful owner, Mary Beth Cook, are as much a destination for us each year as the wonderful Utah Shakespearean Festival. The accomodations are perfectly comfortable and oh, the breakfasts! Mary Beth starts her guests' day with gourmet deliciousness and great conversation in the family-style dining room. If you don't have to be somewhere else, you can decompress on the utterly relaxing front porch or enjoy the garden in the back. Mary Beth makes a point of visiting with each guest just as much as they want to be visited with, while keeping her own place completely on track and helping other B&B hosts with projects at their facilities. Room rates are in line with local upscale hotels, but there is all the difference in the world between Mary Beth's gracious hospitality and a stale, impersonal hotel room. The Stratford is only a couple of minutes from the Festival theaters, so coming and going is quick and easy. We look forward to our return from the moment we leave each year!

This was one of the most memorable weekends we have had. The Stratford was delightful with delicious homemade breakfasts and fun guests to talk with. We loved sitting in the flower garden and watching the hummingbirds. We were only a block from the Shakespearean Festival, which is not to be missed! The downtown area was also within walking distance.We will definitely go back.

My various family members and I have stayed with Mary Beth for the past five years when we visit the USF. We love the location, just two blocks from the theathers, and we especially love Mary Beth. She makes the experience an experience. Her breakfasts are scrumptious (worth getting up for) and her lovely B&B is detailed down to the last button. Each room has its own ambiance and is so quiet and relaxing. I've stayed in other B&Bs in Cedar City but would never go anywhere else now. This is truly a great value.
