The staff are friendly and helpful. Upon check in we received a complimentary upgrade. My daughter received a coloring book with crayons from the front desk at check in as well as a nice bag that proudly displayed the logo of the hotel. Upon request, staff brought a mini-fridge to our room for us at no additional charge.
Each time we would enter or exit the hotel bell service would carry our daughter's stroller up and down the stairs which was very helpful.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. I have heard from other travelers that space is an issue in New York, but we did not feel cramped in the room. The room was tastefully decorated. The hotel has made efforts to improve closet space by adding shelving and increasing overall storage space.
The bathroom is decorated in a modern style with mostly stainless steel fixtures. We only had a shower stall and no bathtub which was a surprise.
For those traveling with small children, there is a nice grocery store across the street on Broadway where you can purchase snacks, breakfast items and spectacular fresh fruit. Much more than that available for purchase it is worth checking out. It is extremely convenient if you come from a family of snackers.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are in New York.
