Stayed here in January 2012 for 4 nights, saw from reviews that the rooms were small so I upgraded to a bigger room before I got to New York, but even still found the queen size room to be very very small, loved the shower room it was almost as big as the bed room which does not say much for the size of the room. But found it to be very clean, and loved the decor. Great location. Had a great time and the staff were very helpful.

Stayed here with my husband in November 2011, found the hotel clean,warm, great shower,lovely staff, free coffee any time of the day or night, fab location right off 5th ave. however the room was very very small so small what were we ment to do with our suitcases??????and this was the upgraded room I would hate to see the smallest double room. But all in all lovely place.

This is my second stay at The Mansfield and it didn't disappoint. Last time, my boyfriend and I stayed in a suite but I stayed in the Queens Chamber this time as I travelled by myself. It was still easily big enough for 2 people.

Surprisingly, there was no a/c unit which was fine this time being the heart of Winter. Last room had a unit which was quite noisy in a meditative way. It was below freezing when I arrived but the room was comfortable even though there was only a grill underneath the bay window seat.

Beautiful boutique furnishings with a comfy bed, smaller sized bathroom but extremely clean. Free wifi and what a great location just off 5th Ave, Time Square and Grand Central station. A quaint little bar and library to chill out is all part of the package.

Only gripe is the American style breakfast is terrible so don't hold your breath.

I booked again via Magellan Vacation's website - go to newyorkcityluxuryhotels.com and there's a code and phone number you need to call. A much better price than all other major websites. Around $160 in total including all taxes. It's rated a 3.5 stars but I think it deserves 5 ou of five.

Last weekend marked my first visit to NYC. I stayed at the Mansfield and had a great experience! Beautiful building and great location. I read many of the reviews before booking my reservations at the hotel and found some complaints about the room size and staff. Yes, the room was on the small side (it's NYC people!), but it was perfectly cozy, clean and adequate for a short stay. The staff was lovely and I would definitely stay here again. I was looking for a perfect little NYC boutique hotel and found one in the Mansfield.
