“Gorgeous hotel”

We stayed here in december, Vintage style boutique hotel, wine and cheese in the evening is offered, and a complimentary light breakfast. Around the corner from the subway and shops and restaurants. The rooms are really small, but very clean and beautiful, that being said we were very kindly moved to a bigger room the next day when we asked the front desk. This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed at, beautiful ambience and decor. Everything about it was perfect for the New York city winter charm.

Room Tip: Ask to be moved to a bigger room if needed.

“Ideal for short stay.”

Upper East Side hotels are dwindling and The Franklin is probably the best value of any of those that remain. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful. Continental breakfast is included, coffee is always available (good coffee) and nice snacks are offered in the afternoon.

Room Tip: If you want quiet you can get the back of the hotel but you will have no view and little natural lig...

Convenient location. The room was comfortable but too small. Continental breakfast. Friendly staff. The hotel was clean. I recomended it my friends

“Utterly delightful”

Charming little hotel. Friendly staff. Room small but immaculate. For the price, and for a lot more, you can't beat this hotel. No reason to stay elsewhere unless you want a guy with a waistcoat unloading your luggage, or some guy with a tip jar playing a piano. Really, really pleasant stay.

I have stayed in NYC every year since 1998 and this hotel is by far the best value I have come across. Dont stay for room service or rambling suites because they aint here, stay because it is Upper East Side, bang next to Madison Ave shops, museums and Central Park. Staff helped us with ice hockey tickets and delivery restaurants and were there for us 24/7. And $112 a night booked via their website? Please. NB We didnt use the window mounted AC.
