This place is great! It is trendy its very dark in the lobby with lounge couches and fire places, there is also a nice size bar. The rooms are small but functional, very clean, and modern. The smell was just clean and crisp and the bed was comfy, I was very content. Relatively quiet also.

Our first trip to NYC and found the location of the Hotel to be fantastic - right at Time Square. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are small but well appointed and clean.

My fiancee and me stayed at the Sanctuary Hotel in September 2011, in fact we were engaged at the Hotel itself! We found the Sanctuary to be a simply wonderful hotel with the perfect balance between amenities, location and cost.

The room was ideal for our requirements and well appointed with quality furnishings and iPod dock/flat screen TV etc. The central location of the hotel, just off Times Square, made the Sanctuary an ideal base to reach the rest of Manhattan.

The staff couldn't be more helpful and their concierge service was outstanding, arranging an incredible helicopter tour of NYC for us at short notice, for example. They made consistently excellent bar and restaurant recommendations all of which ensured that we got the most out of our trip.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough and, by way of testament to how much we enjoyed our stay, we are returning for our Honeymoon later this year!!

From the moment the taxi pulled up to the hotel and the bellman opened the door, my stay began. I was asked my name and was "checked in" via his headset. The took my luggage and I was addressed by name when I approached the front desk. If you are very lucky, you will encounter Freddy, the maestro of fun...and that he is! This is a modern, sleek hotel; lovely on the eyes old with a staff who anticipate your every need. Our room (802) was gorgeous with wonderful amneties. The lobby is full of small spaces for chats and relaxation and fireplaces abound. The bar staff was quite amenable to our champagne requests. There is nothing to dislike a out this place and I can hardly wait to return. This is now my ONLY hotel when in NYC! General Manager Jeremy Poon has much to be proud of for how his staff treats the guests here. I did not want to leave.
