I stayed in a patio king room. This room was REALLY big. Bed was comfortable, extra pillows were a nice touch. Was excited to have the outdoor patio space. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but in the spring I am sure this huge patio would be great. Problem is your patio is connected to all other patios thru a flimsy wooden gate that does not lock. I did not like this at night thinking someone could be looking in the wall of windows. The room was really hot even with the heat turned off. At one point I had my windows open to cool the room down. The walls were so thin. I could hear every word my neighbors and anyone in the lobby or front desk said. They were not even talking loud but sounded like they were right in my room. That combined with the temp made it very hard to sleep. I liked the idea of having a kitchen. The cabinets were metal, a little rusty and the walls were a little dirty. The bathroom was really nice. Nice big TV. The 'experience kit' was a nice touch - yoga mat, DVD, blocks. Location was good. Free bottle of wine at check in was great. Their was just something about this place that felt uncomfortable. I really wanted to love it but it was just off.
I completed a survey after my stay and received a reply saying 'sorry the room you reserved was not available when you checked in.' I did not even say that in my review, I did not experience that problem. This was the second email response I received that was not appropriate. Just like everything else with this hotel...they try but just miss the mark.
