I took my wife here for her birthday and we both think thjis is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The staff were perfect, we went for the standard menu which is a really interesting ordering expeirience from the 4 x 4 grid of single words. My wife went for Fois Gras, Lobster, Lamb and Chocolate while I went for Hamachi, Plantain, Pork and Rhubarb. We chose the paired wines and these were perfect and different for each of us with each course. The seared Fois Gras, Plantain and Portk were stand out winners. As was the bread and pretty much all of the Amuse Bouche which just kept coming until the first course. If I am back in New York I will definitely eat here again, maybe mnext time we'll do the tasting menu.
A faultless meal which we preferred to the Fat Duck.
