First time staying here I booked the book rooms which were small and dark. I had no issues paying the $99 price.
This time around I decided to book a medium room (w/ a pullout couch). The room was huge for NYC standards. All the decor was really masculine. I stayed in the room facing the street, the only issue of this was the noise from the street at night. But being a deep sleeper that didn't really bother me. The bed was comfy enough.
Little touches include a Polaroid camera and record player made my stay pleasant.
The lounge in the lobby (serves great) is busy at all times. In the morning/afternoon it gets packed with people and their laptops. At night the lobby turns into a busy lounge with loads of good looking people.
I'd definitely stay here again. The only gripes are the washrooms, there isn't any counter space, so if you're traveling female you may find it tough to layout your toiletries
