This hotel is well located and easily accessible through public transportation. There's free wireless everywhere and the staff are nice and helpfull. Clean and neat place. The rooms are not big, but you're in Manhattan... You shoudn't be spending a lot of time there, anyway!

We just returned from a week's stay at the Wyndham on W. 24th while getting our daughter setup at Parson's. The staff there was incredibly helpful and friendly (especially Aaron and Winnie). It is located between 5th and 6th Avenue and is incredibly convenient to a variety of great shops, stores and restaurants, including a Michelin one-starred place right next door. 24th is not a major cross street but we never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a cab plus you could walk to either 5th or 6th, in about 2 minutes time, if you wanted to catch a bus. We stayed on the 11th floor and did not hear any street noise - other guests, staying on lower floors, said the street noise was annoying - see if you can book a room higher up. Also, check with the front desk folks about getting vouchers for breakfast - the restaurant is a separate thing but they do a good job on omlettes and have a good variety of breakfast choices. We'll stay there again, gladly, when visiting Manhattan.

Recently stayed at the Wyndham on 24th St. over MLK weekend. The staff is great, the rooms were spacious considering some rooms I have stayed in within the city when keeping price in mind. Our room came to 111.00USD a night, not that bad. It's a 2 block walk to the subway and a quick shot to popular attractions in Manhattan.

The room had a flat screen, comfortable bed, nice size bathroom, desk with phone, alarm clock, closet with iron/board.

Ice is located on the first floor, thats the only bad thing but it's not the end of the world =)

They also have parking at a garage up the street, I believe the rate was about 48+tax a day. Three days parking came to 154.00USD, again not bad at all in the city. Most parking is 60+ for 24 hrs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit NYC. With it being so close to the subway it doesn't matter if you aren't right in the middle of everything.

The hotel was in the perfect location. Right around the corner from the Flatiron Building, really more Gramercy Park than Chelsea.The staff was terrific; friendly & helpful with a sense of humor. The front desk even called us on our first night to make sure everything was ok. Then the night before we were to checkout they called to see if we'd need any transfer help. The rooms are typical NYC hotel rooms...tiny. However, our double/double was very pretty, nice linens, good lighting, and cozy. Beds were fabulous! It was also very, very clean. Wifi was complementary. Bathroom amenities were nice. The lobby can get a bit crowded as it's pretty small, but very "european" feeling to the place. We'd absolutely stay again.
