I don't know why I have not written a review here, perhaps out of fear of potentially eliminating my reservation for our favorite week there. I won't even say what that week is, but we've been going here in the same week for six or seven years. Sue and Dan Hamar are, to us, like family, and while we vacation elsewhere during the year, this is the only place we go to that truly relaxes, restores, and reinvigorates us until the next year. We meet the same two couples there every year, as well as other guests, and the breakfast interactions and conversations have been as convivial, illuminating, educational, refreshing and scintillating as you would wish. My deepest, darkest fear is that the owners might someday decide to retire. I cannot even imagine this B&B without Sue and Dan. I would be a very, very disappointed person should that come to pass. Let's not talk about that anymore.
I hope that nobody takes this review as sufficient justification to reserve our week there, because it has become a family tradition for which there is no substitute possible. Nonetheless, should I be hit by a bus tomorrow, perhaps someone else might take my place there, during that magical week. I am very bus-conscious, and none have struck me yet. No, I will not reveal that week, it being the best of the year.
