“Excellent Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

This Quality Inn seemed a step up next to others that I have visited. Everything was super clean, and you got a lot for your stay. It's obvious that they cater to the one night and on your way crowd. The parking lot was virtually empty when we arrived at 3PM for our two night stay. When we came back from dinner, the lot had filled up considerably. A free breakfast was available every morning, with sausage gravy and rolls, as well as the usual continental breakfast fare.
Our one gripe with the place was the curtains and mirror. There is always light streaming into the room because the curtains are too short and flop around the door. In addition, the mirror placement is such that people can see in the room by peeking into the window. I don't know if this is the arrangement with all the rooms, but it was a problem for us in room 139.
Even though close to I-95, it was pretty quiet in our room. There are some rooms facing the road, so maybe they would have a tougher time sleeping.
As far as restaurants, there was an IHop just across the parking lot and a Cracker Barrel across a major highway. Those were the only ones you could see from the motel. This interchange is a pretty big one, so there's a lot of selection of both hotels and restaurants.
All in all, for what we paid, this place was a real bargain.

Thank you for staying with us at the Quality Inn Kennedy Space Center! We are very pleased that you took the time to tell other potential guests about out hotel. Our hotel does cater mostly to short-term guests visiting the Space Coast for one or two days but we really enjoy extended stay guests whom we can get to know during the course of their stay. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced regarding the curtains and mirror in your room. Most of the guest rooms have the mirror positioned over the work desk immediately to the right as you enter the room. If the curtains are open, I could see how the reflection might show the majority of the room. I also looked into the curtains. They do cover the entirety of the large window in each room, however the overlap beyond the window is only a few inches so the sunlight does come in around them. We do have a few rooms which are somewhat shielded from the sunlight most hours of the day. If you stay with us again, we would be happy to provide you with one of these. Thank you again for your wonderful review!

Very good hotel for the price. Bed was comfortable, room clean, and quiet. Close to interstate, good breakfast. Would stay here again.

“A good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I spent 4 nights here to attend the Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival in January. The room was clean and had the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable. The TV had a good selection of cable stations. The daily breakfast was OK, with some hot foods available. There's also a heated pool with little waterfalls. Otherwise, the grounds are rather plain (but so are the other hotels in the vicinity). It's conveniently located near I-95. There is an IHOP next door, however, I would especially recommend Bapa's Bistro at the Holiday Inn just across the street. For a more quiet stay, I would recommend a second floor room and I strongly suggest that you don't get a room in the back of the complex, which faces the highway. For this level of hotel and at $69/night, I thought it was a good value.

Room Tip: Avoid getting a room that is in the back of the complex, facing I95.

Thank you so much for your review of our Quality Inn Kennedy Space Center. As a budget hotel we are limited in what we can offer to our guests. We do however promise to give you a clean room, to maintain our property as best we can, to provide excellent service, and a great breakfast to start your day off right. Thank you for staying with us while attending the Birding and Wildlife festival and we hope you had an amazing ornithological adventure!

Stopped two nights after iron man Florida to go visit Kennedy space centre.

Turned up unannounced a room and money were changed hands and I was checked in. Reception staff helpful, pleasant, attractive and well informed about the area. Just simple but good value.

“You get what you pay for.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

At $49 a night I didn't expect much and was right. The beds seem old and the pillows small and uncomfortable. I'm glad I was only there one night or I would have had back problems. The continental breakfast looked pretty decent but was not ready at 6am when I had to check out. The brewing coffee smelled good though. I have to be back in the area next week and when I went to book a room for 2 nights noticed the cheapest room now was $69/night. I called and asked if they could give me the same rate I had the week before and they said no so I will be staying at the Days in next door for $52/night

Liz, I am sorry that we couldn't provide you with the same rate the second time around. This past weekend was the Space Coast Birding and Wildlife festival and we were the host hotel. That is why our rate was higher. As for breakfast, if you have to leave before the breakfast opens, we are always happy to provide to-go items such as fruit or pastries. We want you to start your day off right. Don't be bashful, asking is the best way for us to know how to serve you. The same goes for your room. If you have issues with your room, please let the front desk know so we can try to fix the problem or move you to a better room. Thank you for staying with us.
