We stayed recently and my husband was in need of a "doc in the box" for a minor helath issue. The front desk person not only found one for me but then printed off the directions. He was very helpful!

We chose the top floor because I don't care for pitterpats all through my rest and sleep time and it worked great. We had a small living room with sliding door in the bedroom and we each had a tv Just like home. I bathroom door also was a slider and needed attention but we made do. nice coffee and soft towels and we had plenty also a fridge and microwave and that is a good thing. The breakfast would satisfy even a picky eater because they had it all. And the second morning was even better....sausage gravy with good light biscuits and scrambled eggs with sausage too. Fruits,various breads including bagels w/cream, sweet rolls yogurt, juice and good coffee.We had good housekeepers. I recommend the comfort here. We didn't try the pool because it wasn't as warm as I needed in order to swim. But is is encased in beautiful foilage and makes a lovely courtyard , too.

Quick check in, very hospitable staff, extremely clean, great start breakfast (full), location is great, kid suites are great for space and privacy.
Would stay again if in the area.

This is a great hotel! From check in until check out, everything was perfect! Christian and David at the front desk were wonderful help with everything from extra towels to helping us find a place to park an oversized vehicle. Our in room fridge wouldn't cool down and it was replaced within 10 minutes of placing the call. The rooms are clean, except for under the vanity where we found old guests' receipts and stuff. Beds were great. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts I've had and is so convenient to have it in house when traveling with children. We called for room service from the steak house next door. Excellent food and very decent prices with no outlandish room service charge! Another plus after a long day with kids. I'd definitely recommend this place to families traveling to San Diego. It is right off the 8 freeway and is close to major attractions. We did not notice road noise, but we were on the north end of the building. Stay here; you won't be sorry.
