My wife and I stayed here for one night to catch a flight out of San Diego airport. Below average room, nothing fancy at all. Should have stayed at the Comfort Inn down the street. For a 1 night stay though, it done ok.

We were very pleased with this Hotel.We paid a very reasonable rate for our party of 5,and they put out a very nice breakfast every day.The staff was very helpful.It was pleasant to stay at a place that turned out to be more than we expected!

Stayed at this hotel two different times. The first stay was rather good. Room was clean and smelled like bleach because of the pool. Only issue was one of our facial towels had remeneces of Cheeto's. Second stay was good bt room was not as great. There were holes in the curtains and blood on one of the pillows. Breakfast was good...room was just rather small for so many guest. Overall great location and price. There is a parking fee at ths hotel!

We've been staying at this hotel for many years. We like its location and proximity to the various attractions, easy access on/off freeway, mall across the freeway. While the hotel is still pretty good, we feel that it has gone downhill just a bit, making it less attractive, but still decent.
For breakfast, it seems that they now have those (defrosted) pancakes, whereas before we were able to make our own waffles, which were pretty good. The pancakes were not that good and nuking it in the microwave made the edges tough.
They started charging $8.00 for parking the last few times we were there. Not sure why besides the obvious reason to make more money. It kinda sticks in my craw when hotels charge you a parking fee when they are already charging you for the room - could be just me - and it is not a 'luxury' hotel in a downtown area.
When we checked in the room after a very hot and dusty day, there were no bath towels. Yes, it was brought quickly, but ...
Used to have the USA newspaper - now it's Wall Street Journal, which may be fine for some people, but ... WSJ certainly not for everybody.
Maybe we're getting older, but it seems that the ice machine by the pool seems further away now! Or we were just so tired that day and would feel better after a good night's rest!
All in all, still decent hotel, though not as good as it used to be. Disappointed in that respect.
