My room was ok, clean, good size; the breakfast was not really good, but fill your stomach. Great location, a couple of blocks from Little Italy, Friendly Staff especially Moises.

Our stay was Jan. 18 & 19th 2012. Great place to spend your pre-cruise time. The room was clean and comfortable. We never made it to the pool but it looked nice. You could hear the train in our room facing the bay, but not too bad. We were on the 8th floor. Elevators were good. The staff were very freindly.

The restaurant next door had excellent service but could have had a bigger menu.

The hotel was in walking distance to Seaport Village, Little Italy, and to the shore where we spent most of our time walking around and going whale watching.

Our only complaint was the water temp. in the shower flucuates.

Bayside Inn is a great hotel. My family and and I stayed here for a few days while visiting San Diego. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything. Little Italy is just a few metres away. The rooms are a great size and the hotel is clean and well organised. The daily breakfast was great. It included hot and cold eats. The hotel also provided a complimentary shuttle to different locations including the nearby Amtrak station. While it is a little bit tired in places, this hotel is great value for money and close to everything including the Amtrak train station.

well we only stayed here for 2 nights, we were touring the states, but not only is it excellently situated but everything you want is within a 5 min walk.
The staff were friendly, the rooms secure and clean and breakfast, as far as we were conserned decent, i have read a lot of negative comments on this hotel and sorry but as a traveller to " the states " on a regular basis i think this hotel is really good.
If you want to be treated like royalty nip over the bridge to the hotel corinado and loose your mortgage, yes we stayed there as well and not a patch on the location of this hotel !
