“Roach Motel!! Dirty and Disgusting!!”

Roaches and a spider crawled on my arm. I dropped my drink & used a handtowel to clean up the mess. They charged me $3 for a .50 cent scratchy handtowel. If they would clean and fumigate these rooms, I wldnt of dropped my drink. I called to see if they wld reverse the charge and the lady just kept repeating herself that the towel was dirty, in her broken english. I've stayed thr before and nvr had an issue but now they seem to be going down hill and they don't care about their customers. Waste of money and no real customer service. They dnt teach those people anything on how to provide excellent quality customer service but I guess what do you expect from a ROACH MOTEL!!!!

“Don't bother reserving with a credit card!!”

I reserved a room here for 2 nights, a Saturday and a Sunday for my son who was to enter UCSD Hospital Burn Unit on Monday.
I put the charges on my credit card so he could just go from the airport to his room and rest until Monday morning. Well, I get a call from the front desk lady stating that I must present the credit card at check in before they will give him his room. As I live in Oklahoma, that would be difficult. She was not very helpful, yes, she may have been busy, but that does not call for being snide with me. Unfortunately she would not let him have the room unless he paid cash. The money we had given him for food and transportation had to be used to pay for this room. I don't understand why if they take a credit card to hold the room, why couldn't they just charge the room to that card. The website was not clear on that!
