The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly, mainly the one from the Convention Center.
My stay was long - three weeks- but the staff made me feel at home.
The only negative point is the non available free access to the wi fi in the rooms (free wi fi only in the lobby).

Really enjoyed the stay at Marriott Gaslamp-the location is perfect for walking wherever you'd like to go, the view of downtown was amazing-I was on the 9th floor; and the service was outstanding.

Took a winter vacation with my wife and daughters to get away from the Midwest cold. The hotel was recommended to us by a close friend.

From the curbside reception, to the front desk, to room staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.

The 22nd floor rooftop bar overlooks center field of the Padres Stadium. It is a equally spectacular for the morning sunrise and coffee or Happy Hour and the sunset. We enjoyed both more than once.

The hotel is in a great location. It is an inexpensive, 10 minute cab ride from the airport. You do not need a car unless you traveling a long distance. There is a multitude of excellent restaurants and sports bars in walking distance from the hotel. We took the bus to the zoo. It was a simple trip.

My wife and daughters pretty much insisted that we return next year. I expect that we will.
