The room was great. We had originally rented a room with no view thinking that we were going to be in the room only at night, but upon arrival they offered us a better room with partial view and a balcony, for 15$ more a night, and we were really happy with that choice in the end. Sitting on the balcony having a glass of wine while looking at the ocean was awesome. We rented bikes from the hotel, which was great! Not far from La Jolla, the zoo, the bay, Gaslamp district. Great restaurant for breakfast near the hotel, since I don't eat much for breakfast, it wasn't worth for me to pay for the breakfast buffet. The room was big and bathroom as well. I would stay here again and would recommand the hotel to anyone: Families, couple, friends! The staff was so friendly!

My best friend and I have just spent one week at the most wonderful hotel with the most wonderful staff, First encounter with Danny thank you for your kindness, and help. Now for the staff, Diego, Joe and McGarrity what would we have done without you. Your hotel, immaculate, your service perfect, your information flawless. I would come back over and over. Perfect location, perfect view. Thank you again and again from me to all of you for helping with one more trip for G's bucket list.

I used the previous reviews from Trip Advisor to choose the Pacific Terrace for a surprise mini vacation for my husband's 60th. The hotel lived up to all the reviews and more. Location is fantastic, hotel staff very friendly and accommodating, and service above and beyond. I booked the ocean front suite, but did not select any other options. Changed my mind at the last minute, and Angela, the concierge handled everything. We will definitely return. The sooner, the better.
