“Not helpfull at all.”

We stayed in space #138. Worst space in the park, in order to level our MH we had to raise front tire 6" off the ground. Our neighbors had to leave on an emergency and we asked to move to that spot, they told us they had already rented it. No one showed up. The spot is next to restroom where kids ride bikes on the side walk like a speed way. Will not go back!

What a TRAILER PARK dump, They abuse the use of RESORT.
This place is nothing more than a blacktop lot with white lines to squeeze your coach in.
When we're ready to leave, we're going to need to ask three rv's across from us to move so we can pull our 45' coach out using a shoe horn. They weren't here when we arrived.
I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE SELECTING THIS DUMP.
We love San Diego, but will look for somewhere else to stay in the future.

“Great, Affordable, Clean and Fun Rv Resort”

We went to Mission Bay RV Resort for the first time recently and loved it! We normally stay at Campland which is across the bay, but the spots we like were full and the ones available were outragously priced. I had checked out this campgrounds reviews and decided to try it and was pleasently surprised!! First off this Resort does not allow tent camping which is a huge plus...We got a Bay View site which is a little more pricy but well worth it. The resort is a lot smaller than Campland but is very clean and staff is very friendly. It has a Snack Shack ,does movies for the kids at night and has access to the bay and water activities. There is no store or pool on site which is a bummer but we survived, lol. The people that we met there were great many had been coming for 10 plus years which says a lot about the resort! This resort is a lot quieter than campland which is nice, we could hear them across the bay.But it is not stuffy we are a young family of 5 with 3 kids all over the age of 9 and had no problems at all! The kids rode bikes, fished, kayaked and got to watch Seaworld's firework show every nite, as we had the perfect view. When quiet time rolled around no one was rudly being told to shut everything down like some campgrounds do which was nice and no one was being disrespectfuly loud either which was great!! Overall we had a great experience and will definitly be back soon!

Room Tip: Get a bay view spot!

“Bring Some Earplugs”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

We have stayed in this campground each summer, for the past five summers. Why I keep subjecting my family to the same punishment is a mystery. This last trip we intentionally visited weekday in an attempt to miss the crowd. No such luck. The place was about 80% capacity, mostly with groups that knew each other. We somehow got stuck in the middle of a loud group who seemed to be on Hawaii time zone. Quiet times were not observed or enforced and like a bar, it didn't get quiet until around 2 am. I had to put earplugs in and run the A/C for white noise. The WiFi for some reason ALWAYS locks up my devices. I will say that the staff is friendly, the park is secure, clean and maintained pretty well. It's also pretty close to quite a few attractions. But if you're looking for some peace and quiet when you return from a day of sightseeing, look elsewhere.

“Warning: Dirty, depressing, boring, overpriced, rude staff, awful place”

If you desire a nice vacation, DON"T GO HERE !!!!!! Save yourself from a boatload of nightmares and go to Campland instead! Go anywhere instead of here! Nothing to do except rot like the old mobile homes you are surrounded by! Awful, awful, place!
Nothing but a dirty empty parking lot that they call a "resort". ACK!!!

Room Tip: Stay home or visit your Aunt Hazel instead! Don't visit here.
