We were coming home from the mountains and were exhausted, just wanted to relax and sleep with our young daughter. We got a whirlpool room. 1st thing my daughter noticed was the whirlppol tub was dirty, so I cleaned it, then cobwebs on the ceiling-ugh and I got most of those down (so much for my resting! Then she saw a comment card laying next to the tv that had the date of 10/31/2010 (no one offered to pick it up in a month, hmmm) At 2AM our heat went out. I went downstairs and (long story) but we took a blanket from another room since there was nothing in housekeeping just to keep my daughter warm. My husband and I were awake the rest of the night but thank goodness my little one slept. I told the night clerk everything and then "V" the next morning but instead of trying to keep a customer who comes to his town quite frequently and do the right thing. I am advising everyone that I know NOT to use this hotel. He will not offer a refund for something that is their fault to keep a customer. There are alot of Hotels in Tupelo that are nice and honest.
