I have to admit that when I first saw the hotel, I was quite worried because it appeared to be nothing at all like I saw on their website. Apparently the Summit has taken over the old Ramada Inn (there are signs for both). Behind the old Ramada is a new section (where you will check in). When you book, be sure to ask if you are booking in the new section where the office is located (this is a hotel with room doors inside). The old Ramada rooms are motel rooms (2 story with doors/windows facing out toward parking lot). All, if not most all, photos seem to be of the new section of the hotel rather than the old motel rooms.
The room we stayed in the newer section was fine. The bed was very comfy, clean (no presence of bed bugs....pulled back sheets to check) and there was a refrigerator and microwave; however, the bathroom is tiny (not bad for an overnight stay, but could be bothersome after several days). There was not much sink space for toiletries (some toiletries provided by hotel), but the mirror did contain a medicine cabinent for storage. The room had a shower only and my only complaint with that was the really flimsy (and cracked) soap dish that was suctioned to the wall and mediocre water pressure. The shower was actually a pretty good size and wasn't cramped. Bathroom linens were ample and clean. Bed linens stamped "Ramada Inn" on edges, but clean.
Although I didn't partake, some continental breakfast items were available (muffins, coffee, juice, etc.) in the lobby area downstairs.
The manager/owner was pleasant and he locks the front doors to the hotel in the evenings (we went out and came back a little before 9 p.m. and had to knock on the glass doors to be let in because your room key won't open these doors).
