We had a suite in this hotel. The suite was perfect, spacious. We made a deal; the price was supposed to be 114 USD incl. VAT, then we got the bill and it was ecl. VAT. The hotel looks nice, but it's the little things. Flimsy plastic cutlery at breakfast. Watery coffee. In the shower you can only adjust the amount of water together with the heat; the hotter it gets, the more water you get, the colder it gets, the less. Strange... When we got there, the A/C was blazing away and it was freezing in the room. There was no thermostat, so we had to adjust the temperature by setting the two A/C's by hand. I turned them off on arrival, but it stayed cold in the room and I had to add another blanket so we wouldn't be cold, although it was HOT outside. Staff helpful and friendly. Wifi very slow and unstable in our room, but free.

Our daughter lives in Tupelo. We visit often and book the suite or junior suite. The staff is caring and always extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast offers a wide array of items.....plenty of variety to please anyone in your family. The rooms are spacious, clean and lovely. We love this location and will continue to stay here!

We stayed for a weekend. We were in town for a family reunion. When we got there we were greeted by a friendly front desk lady. She got us checked in quickly and let us know about the accomodations of the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find out about the complimentary guest laundry. The room was huge and very nice! The bed was very comfy! I brought my laptop and was glad they had free wireless service. The breakfast was awesome and had plenty to choose from. They even let us gather in their conference room when it was empty at no charge!! I will definatley book another stay at this VERY ACCOMODATING HOTEL!!

This hotel was excellent! I have stopped in Tupelo, Ms. many of times and this was my first stay at the Wingate. I was greeted by a very friendly staff upon arrival. I went to my room and it was such a nice room! It smelled refreshing!! While having a cocktail at the Managers Reception, the staff suggested a local place to eat which was The Grill. It was only 3 miles from the facility and it was perfect. After dinner i got back to the hotel to relax in the large whirlpool and had a great nights sleep... Like i said i travel to Tupelo many times a year and this will definatly be the hotel i stay at everytime!!!
