“Nice hotel; not sure it's worth the money”

I took my boyfriend here for a nights stay for his birthday. It was nice, concierge gave us a free app voucher for the hotel's restaurant upon check in. We took advantage of that and grabbed a beer and a glass of wine with the app. Bartenders were more than accommodating.
Room was nice, but nothing special. You're typical hotel room. It was clean, bathroom very clean as well. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in.
Nice hotel, lovely view and location. Not exactly in the heart of Boston but a ten min can ride to wherever you'd need to go.

“Seaport Boston nice hotel- showing wear”

About the 5th time we have stayed for business. There are a few other hotels locally like the Westin and Boston harbor Hotel. When we have tried driving in and tried to get our car in their parking lots, they have told us that there is parking and when we arrived there was no place for our car! Very frustrating. On all visits to the Seaport we have been able to park. Accommodations are expensive here but the restaurants in the hotel and the rooms have been good, not excellent but good.

Room Tip: stay away from elevators!

“Excellent Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I have been staying at the Seaport Hotel every year for the past 5 years and have been very satisfied. The proximity to the Boston Convention Center makes it an ideal place to stay for tradeshows and meetings. The hotel is very classy and well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bar in the lobby is very lively at night, but in a pleasant way. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance, so I cannot comment on the restaurants at the Seaport. What sets this hotel apart from many others in the area is the outstanding customer service. The bellman, Amir, greeted me with a very polite "welcome back" as he opened my car door. He was kind enough to reunite me with a jacket I had left behind in the lobby while checking in. He also offered to store all of my bags in my car at checkout as I had a full day of meetings to attend. The service didn't end there. Every single staff member I met with was very pleasant and accommodating. There is no tipping at the Seaport so these folks are not over the top with service just to earn a tip. Very refreshing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: A harbor view is nice.

The staff is superior! Especially considering they don't allow tipping! No really! No tipping! So they were not being nice for tips. They really are nice!
Hotel has some incredible views of the water.
The hotel is so clean!
If your mtg at the new convention center this is perfect. Del Frisco and legal seafoods are right down the street!
Great Hotel!

Thank you for this wonderful review. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. Service inclusive is common in Europe, and we are one of a handful of service inclusive properties in the U.S. Our staff is our single greatest asset; our employees have voted us as a top place to work in Massachusetts six times! We look forward to your return.

Thank you,

“Excellent Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I stayed at the Seaport hotel in August 2011 for 4 days. The service was great, the food in the restaurants was excellent and the Tamo Bar was delightful. I recommend this hotel for leisure and business. There is wifi everywhere and plenty of space in the lobbies. I was especially impressed by the maid service and the build-in doorbells in each room. I love the fact that they have one floor catered to people with sensitive allergies, the air on that floor does make a difference for anyone with breathing issues.

Thank you. We greatly appreciate when guests take the time to share their Seaport experiences. We think the PURE rooms provide an environment that promotes better sleep for all guests, not just those with allergies. Thank you for the compliments, and we look forward to your return.
