Location was excellent for public transportation. The subway, Hynes convention ctr, off the green line was a close few blocks away. We stayed for five nights at the beginning of October to kick off our fall foliage tour as we headed to W. Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Our room was very plain, small, definitely no frills. Breakfast was continental style with mostly cereal, and help yourself type of breakfast foods. Cost per night was reasonable for this type of accomodation in Boston. Because we are active travelers who value travel experiences more than the luxuries of a hotel room, we were quite satisfied.

Oasis has very friendly staff and is in a great location. Just a few minutes to the T, Newbury Street, the Symphony, and Huntington theatre. The rooms are small but clean.

We stayed here for four nights. The best thing I can say is the location is great! We were in room 3. It faces the street and was very noisy - you could hear every noise from the street. As the guest house is near the Berklee College of Music, there were lots of students out at night and there was a lot of noise. The shower is tiny. You cannot turn around in the shower. There is no room. Breakfast is OK. Cereal, bread and store bought pastries. The staff was very nice and helpful. The T is a couple of blocks away and the Public Gardens and Common are within walking distance.

Nice clean little guest house in a great location. Rooms are small, freshly painted, new carpet, comfortable beds. Includes a simple but nice breakfast. The guest house has a nice lobby with newspapers and magazines. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will return.
