The hotel is not centrally located but was a nice base to explore Boston. The staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel management sent a helpful email before the visit with directions and hints for nearby restaurants. The hotel is tucked a shopping center with a few chain restaurants and big box retailers... helpful if you're looking for dinner and to plan your home improvement job. Rooms are good sized. The beds were not comfortable with thin sheets and comforters. The lobby is nice sized and is a useful space for meeting / chatting with a large group. We'll stay again.

I stayed here with my boys the
night before an early flight out of Boston Logan. We arrived around 5 PM and the boys found the T station an easy walk and headed into Boston for a few hours. I decided to stay back and head to the local shopping area behind the hotel. There is some decent shopping and a few casual restraunts within the short walk. The boys took the free shuttle to the T but just walked on there return said it was completely safe and a short walk.

The rooms were clean and appeared to be updated. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. I would stay here again in the future.

I booked the Courtyard in South Boston for my husband and I for a weekend in October 2011. The night before we were supposed to leave, we received a devastating phone call that my husband's mother had passed away. I immediately called the hotel to cancel, since we needed to be home with the family and help with arrangements. My husband is in the Navy and we live several hours away. The lady that answered the phone said it was "no problem" to cancel our reservation and that we would not be charged a cancellation fee due to the circumstances, and they also had 18 hours notice before our check-in time. Turns out, they charged our credit card anyway. It was my fault for not getting a name and cancellation number, but I was grief stricken at the time and not thinking clearly. So beware if you need to cancel your reservation, even in the event of an emergency.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business in November 2011. Most hotels in Boston are easily accessed by public transport, but the nearest subway stop here is Andrew, a brisk 10 min walk for someone reasonably fit, but at least a 20 min walk with a heavy suitcase (even on a sunny day, mid afternoon). There are some local buses that run past the hotel, but only about 3 an hour. Once at the hotel, the big shopping park with Target, TJMaxx etc is useful for late night shopping, but walking through the car park next to the freeway is strange.
Hotel itself is modern and comfortable, I was given an accessible room which was spacious and warm. Large, new bed, free reliable Wifi. The 'pool' is tiny, barely room to swim a few strokes, and the hot tub was out of order for 2 of the 4 nights I stayed - when it was working it did the job nicely. Didn't use the small gym, but could see that at least 1 of the 6 machines was out of order. Staff at front desk. very helpful, stored bags after I'd checked out, shuttle to airport was about $6 and it took about 10 mins to the terminal. Would stay again, but only if travelling with a car.
