A wonderful hotel, stand above all. You first walk in, greeted by a doorman, walk into beautiful foyer. Staff attentive and polite. In the heart of boston, walking distance to many great sights.

Room: open, clean and the bed great. Fenway room equipped with a view of fenway park. Hdtv and a blu-ray player. Offer a lot of bang for your buck. Free internet service, movie rental and even board game.

Downside: I stayed on the 2nd floor and there is no ice machine. You need to go to 3rd - 5th floor.

A great hotel right above the kenmore subway exit.

I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone - they have a wide variety of people while I stayed - families, young couples etc and they only time I heard a peep was in the lobby. Hallways quiet ALL night. The entitre staff were extremely helpful and unbelievably quick. We asked for an extra robe, delivered within 5 minutes, same for a coffee pot for the morning. Room service was also not only fast but the food was HOT!! I travel quite a bit and will definitely come back to this hotel. Oh and they also were great w/restaurant recommendations...not only did they send us to my now "new favorite" but had the restaurant hostess greet us by name and lead us by a waiting line to a seat....talk about service!!

Pros: Attentive staff, three nice restaurants on site, newer property, clean

Cons: no preferred seating at restaurants for hotel guests; 1 of 3 restaurants closed for private party (really?!); a bit off the beaten path; lobby was nice but not spectacular; walls were a bit thin.

Spent $400 for a king suite. Nice room but the hotel only has 4 floors so traffic noise is a concern. The rooms was nice but not "old world elegant". Our sitting room was quite large but sparsely furnished. It's a $20 cab ride to downtown; in the winter don't try to walk it - way too cold.

For my money, the Lenox has more charm, more elegance, and a much better location. Hotel Nine Zero is also in the hunt.

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip. The bed was super-comfortable and the staff was great. It was really cozy at this hotel. Overall, highly recommended! The room was very nice. Quiet.
