This B & B has one thing that no other B & B in Boston has and that is owner/host, Reinhold. When speaking with Reinhold, it is clear why he and Encore are so successful. His kind personality and soft demeanor translate directly into the overall beauty, feel and service found at Encore. The breakfasts are light, tasty, and fresh. The rooms are clean, intelligently organized and decorated. And the location is extremely convenient and flexible, offering variety and quality.

Like myself, Reinhold is an architect. I was pleased to find that he is very willing to discuss his personal life relative to his career and passion(s). He was also more than willing to suggest great places to visit and eat.

Because my experience was so pleasant at Encore, I will look no further when returning to Boston. They will certainly be receiving a phone call from me.

Great location, beautiful house, wonderful rooms, welcoming host

We had the pleasure of spending the Christmas holidays at Encore and our eight night stay could not have been better. A perfect location in the South End just where West Newton Street meets Tremont Street, so an easy walk to great places to eat and drink and also a short walk to the "T" at Prudential and Back Bay for getting around Boston. The "Stephen Sondheim" room was large and comfortable. Reinhold's breakfasts are worth getting up early for. He is a mine of excellent local information about restaurants - "647 Tremont" was a great recommendation. "Encore" we certainly shall when next in Boston.
