Let me first of say, this was one of my best hotel stays in a while with Hilton...
I called the hotel a few days before to ensure my reservation was in order and was told yes we have you all set and we'll reserve you on the Top Floor (6th floor) no problem...
I arrived at the hotel and was greeted very nicely by the doorman and he helped me up to the lobby area (a short flight of stairs) or an elevator to the Main Lobby...
I was checked-in by Andrea (who might I say is a very hard worker) and very customer service oriented...
I was given a room on the Sixth Floor (Room 611)...when I walked into the room, I had a nice King Size Bedded Room and had a wonderful view of the City and Skyscrapers etc.
I also noticed a fruit basket (bearing bananas, oranges, apples, grapes, strawberries) and a hand-written note from Taryn (Front Desk Manager) welcoming me back to the hotel, a very nice touch might I add...
The hotel is located directly next to Tufts Medical Center and City Place...The Orange "T" stop is directly next to the hotel as well...
The best thing about this hotel is that you have full access to the Wang YMCA from the second floor (which is great since you get private access) into the Y...
When you get to the lobby of the Y just show your key sign the sheet and your set to use an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, myraid of excerise equipment, basketball, yoga classes, you name it they got it...
I was truly impressed by all the wonderful customer service and will definately be back in the future..
I will add a few other things that I noticed:
"If you park your car there it is $40 to park overnight"
"Ask for a room on a higher floor facing the city"
"If your a Gold or Diamond you get a nice treat bag when you arrive and breakfast coupons for continental breakfast, if you want to get the full hot buffet is an additional $5 plus tax"
