“Convenient Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Good location across Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Government Center. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable although it was quite small for a suite. Our room had a nice balcony with table and chairs. Although the bath anemities were generic, they were a decent quality. The bathroom was very spacious. We were on the 8th floor and there are only 5 rooms on that floor which made for a very nice and quiet stay. Decor throughout hotel is simple and minimal. Room service was excellent - the English muffins are made at the hotel and are wonderful. The hotel restaurant was also very good with very reasonable prices.

Cons: Our towels were pretty shabby and should be replaced; our balcony had tacky "plastic" greenery in the planter boxes; in order to reach our room on the 8th floor, we had to take two different elevators - the first lets you off on the 7th floor and you wind around the 7th floor to reach the elevator that takes you to the 8th floor. The hotel does not have a gift/sundries shop. Valet parking is $45 a day.

Room Tip: The 8th floor has only 5 rooms which makes for a nice, quiet stay.

“Best Doormen Around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

It's not often one gets the chance to recognize the doormen, but in the case of the Millennium Bostonian, they simply have the very best. We stayed two nights at the convenient site, and were offered guidance, help and direction from doorman that not only were professional and courteous, but also, savy enough to lookup and remember my name. Classy. We would recommend and will certainly stay again. PS. The front desk was very good too!

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with any.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your recognition of our door staff and they truly are ambassadors for the city of Boston!

The Bostonian will celebrate it's 30 year anniversary in September 2012, and all three door captains were with this hotel on opening day. Inclusive of our celebration plans, we will recognize their service commitment which has remained guest focused.

We hope that you might return to Boston in 2012!

“Great Location & a Nice Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Stayed here for a vacation. Perfect location to walk to almost everything interesting or catch the T. Great to grab something to eat at Quincy market before/after a day of sightseeing. Quick taxi to/from the airport. The hotel was nice & felt safe. The room was clean & big enough for us.

“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

I stayed at the Boston Millennium for two nights while in town for job interviews. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay after reading through the reviews on tripadvisor. The location was very convenient from the airport and to the financial district, the lobby was much more modern and well-appointed than the somewhat dated exterior of the hotel, and the doormen and staff at the front counter were friendly.

I was in a spacious superior deluxe room. The step-out balcony was tiny and faced the interior of the hotel, but if I actually stepped out onto the balcony and looked right could easily see Faneuil Hall. At least the balcony had fresh flowers?

There was a separate vanity seating area next to the bathroom, which was very convenient, and the bathroom itself was large with great water pressure. The bed was comfortable and although I could hear some live music from a bar near Faneuil Hall, it didn't go on too late and wasn't a problem. I slept very well.

Also appreciated the complimentary coffee service outside the elevator in the morning.

“great location near Boston's North End”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

medium sized hotel 5 minutes walk from Faneuill Hall and Quincy market shops, bars & restaurants. 10 minutes will get you to the city's North End with it's history and geat Italian shops & restaurants.
The hotel has recently been refurbished and has a comfortable lobby and nicely furnished bedrooms. My room only had a shower but it's roomy and powerful The Fitness centre is small and not brilliantly eqipped so at busy imes it's difficult to get on machines.
There is an Aveda spa & salon attached - I had a great massage from a therapist called Autumn - highly recommended for keeping jetlag at bay!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel have the best views but it's not so quiet especially on Thursda...
