Good location across Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Government Center. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable although it was quite small for a suite. Our room had a nice balcony with table and chairs. Although the bath anemities were generic, they were a decent quality. The bathroom was very spacious. We were on the 8th floor and there are only 5 rooms on that floor which made for a very nice and quiet stay. Decor throughout hotel is simple and minimal. Room service was excellent - the English muffins are made at the hotel and are wonderful. The hotel restaurant was also very good with very reasonable prices.
Cons: Our towels were pretty shabby and should be replaced; our balcony had tacky "plastic" greenery in the planter boxes; in order to reach our room on the 8th floor, we had to take two different elevators - the first lets you off on the 7th floor and you wind around the 7th floor to reach the elevator that takes you to the 8th floor. The hotel does not have a gift/sundries shop. Valet parking is $45 a day.
