This hotel is in need of repairs. Reminds me of a military dorm. The size is small. But is clean and under lock access. about 10 minutes from the Biltmore. Any longer than one night and I would have stayed somewhere else. DQ and Cracker Barrel right next door.

Booked reservation online based on reviews and pictures of room - looking for an inexpensive play to stay to go to Biltmore - Entrance in back of hotel was poorly lit - spots on carpet in hallway - blanket on bed had cigarette burns - sheets on bed had black spots on them - walls were dirty - carpet in room had spots - comforters on bed were filthy - hair dryer in bathroom was dirty - pictures online are no indication of how room actually looks - left immediately and went elsewhere - would never recommend this hotel to anyone

If you are looking for a decent room at a good price then this is for you. The corridors aren't very nice at all but the room is clean and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Asheville and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was an average place to stay with all the essential things. There was a huge LCD screen TV, but other than that, nothing really special. The heater/AC unit didn't even work right. To turn it off, we had to switch it to "low heat" and to turn it to "low AC" we had to turn it to "high heat". In the morning we left our room to be turned over by housekeeping, and when we came back, we found out that they had NOT changed our linens even though we specifically requested them to. All they did was make the bed. They also left our room window curtain wide open (which we had left CLOSED before we left) so that everyone outside the building could easily see into our room since we were on the ground floor. I'm glad we didn't leave anything valuable in the room because someone could have very easily broken through the window. Also, in the morning they say that they offer "pastries" for breakfast. Really they just mean plain Krispy Kreme donuts.
