This Red Roof has always been one of my favorites! It is very well maintained, and it was just completely renovated, which makes it a very comfortable hotel/motel for your stay.
The general manager, Susan, and the desk clerk, Alyssa, always make me feel very welcome when ever I stay here. They just gave this property a complete face lift, and it is very very nice, as there is new bedding, fresh paint, new floors,, and a contemporary look to the rooms. Whenever I am in Asheville, this is the place I stay, and will continue, as it is in a good location, very safe, and quiet. A GREAT Value!

I made reservation for a standard king directly to the motel several weeks before arrival! My partner and I had easy check-in! We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms on the first floor! The room was really nice, small room and bath! Everything was new in the room! Great heat and alot of hot water! Well stocked! No outside noise or noise from other rooms! The motel was in walking distance to several places to eat! The staff were so nice, friendly and willing to help! Large will lighted parking lot and we parked directly in front of our room! The room was super clean and nice cable TV! We had no issues with the motel and had a great one night stay! The motel had great rates on the rooms! Plan to stay at the Red Roof Inn when returning to Asheville!

Based on good reviews, I stayed at the red roof inn last night. I made my reservation the night before and was not advised that the hotel was under renovation. Renovation to the lobby area continued past 9:00 at night, which I could hear from my room. The temperature controls in the room did not work and when I called the front desk to report it, it was 80 degrees in my room. She told me to open the door to let in some cold air. About 11:00 p.m., I discovered that the toilet was clogged. I went to the front desk and she offered me a plunger. I asked for another room and she said to try the plunger first. No luck -- and so finally moved one floor down! Response from front desk -- sorry! Very disappointing! And there was not a coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator. For the $10 I saved, it wasn't worth it!

The rooms were newly redone with great desk space, microwave, and refrigerator. The rooms are not elegant and a bit noisy. However, I prefer the bare wood-finished floors that contributed to the noise to the stained carpets in other pet friendly motels. We try to stay at Red Roof Inns when our cat is with us, and this was a nice one.
