We have stayed here several times over the past few years (this is an updated review) , and it has slipped some this trip. First, know that it is nowhere near the "Biltmore" - it is several miles out of town and not near much except the "Billy Graham Training Center" (?). The rooms are reasonable quality in this renovated property - the beds are comfortable and so long as you don't stay in one of the 2 rooms facing the road (as we did), it is fairly quiet. Here's what slipped: The breakfast service is still a joke. Both days we tried it at about 9:20. They were out of milk, sausage, eggs and most fruit on one slow day. The other day they had no OJ, sausage, biscuits muffins/danish or fruit. It seems as the one person maintaining it disappears at critical times, hoping you just leave - as we did. So, don't count on it if it is at all busy or later than very early in the morning. In the room, the maid turned the heat to "fan", letting the room cool off during the day - a minor annoyance.
Room Tip: Stay away from rooms 172 and 173 - noisy.

Thank you for staying with us again! We appreciate your feedback as it lets us know what we are doing right & what we need to work on. We are about a 10 minute drive from the Biltmore Estate (about 5 miles). We will certainly address our Breakfast Attendant regarding breakfast running low 10 minutes before breakfast ends. We do not fully restock at that time but we will make sure that they keep the breakfast items available until the breakfast closes at 9:30am. We apologize that the housekeeper turned your heater to fan. We will address that as well. We will be renovating the guest rooms in 2012. We hope that you will stay with us again & give us the opportunity to better serve you. Happy Holidays to you!
