“Loved everything about it!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

After looking at all the BBs on line I decided on this one...not sure why now, but am so glad I did. My husband was apprehensive about staying in a house etc., but we loved it. The evening wine and conversations with the hosts and other guests was wonderful, breakfast was wonderful, the room was clean and so comfortable, Jim and Chris, the hosts were so special and made you feel like the only guests they have or have ever had! Awesome experience! Erika met us the day we arrived and she is such a sweet girl as well. I don't know who the gal was who cleaned, but everything was super clean and they have Aveda products! The sheets were to die for and I ordered a set before we left!
We Had the Sarah Davidson suite so we had a large space and somewhat more private since we had the whole 3rd floor, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again even if I couldn't get that suite. Of course we missed the beauty of Asheville and the property since it was winter, but we got a great price at the inn and we were able to do the Biltmore without the crowds!

“Inviting, charming inn for a change of pace”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

From the moment we opened the door of this inn on New Year's Day we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Chris and Jim run an inviting well decorated B&B where they make you feel at home. The staff provided helpful information and a map of Asheville, while inviting us to have a glass of wine before dinner. We stayed in the Arbor Room with it's own entrance. We loved the quiet room with the gas fireplace. Thoughtful touches were everywhere including multiple linens in the jacuzzi bathroom, quality soap products and soft linens on the bed. The two course gourmet breakfast made from fresh ingredients was superb. We enjoyed chatting with the other interesting guests .The open kitchen made it possible to go and get a cold bottled water before bed, just as you would at home. While the Inn was charming with a sophisticated feeling it had wifi and current newspapers to let you stay in touch with the real world. We plan on staying at the Inn again and enjoying hosts Chris and Jim.

Room Tip: The quiet Arbor room is off the kitchen area with its own entrance from the outside as well as havin...

“WONDERFUL!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We stayed in the Savannah Cottage for our Anniversary this past August. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with happy, competent, and friendly staff. We were given maps and locations of restaurants and things to do in the area based on our likes and dislikes. The owners and staff were able to give us recomendations for activities and GREAT places to eat. You can tell these people really like what they do!
I was suprised by the decadent breakfasts! So delicious. Hot tea and coffee are always available. Wine hour was very relaxing, especially when accompanied by the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch.
The jacuzzi tub in the room is a bit unusual. I would have been happier with a regular shower but this by no means ruined our stay. We knew going into our trip that we would be using the handhelf shower nozzle for bathing. The bed was so soft and comfortable. There is even a small balcony on the back side of the cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Cottages do not have regular showers!

“Enjoyable Inn and great hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

We stayed at The Beaufort House for four nights in October with another couple; we stayed in the Terrace Rooms (Ivy and Oak). They are separate from other rooms and somewhat private and have their own patio (which we did not use because of other activities we were doing and the Also because of the wine hospitality hour that they provided. It was a most enjoyable time and one that is not often experienced at other Inns or B and Bs. The hosts and staff (we have to mention their staff) are very attentive, informative and relaxed. Jim and Chris make you feel that you are the only guests that are staying there and that they will help you in any way they can. Jim went out of his way to get us men in the party a tee time at The Grove Park Inn at a special rate!

Room Tip: Well me and the wife and the other couple stayed in the two Terrace Rooms and were separated from th...

“Perfect B&B for a weekend getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

My wife & I visit Asheville frequently because we have some family there and love it every time. This trip, however, we decided that we wanted to stay in a B&B and mix it up a bit. We chose the Beaufort House, and boy did we hit a winner. This place was so quaint and welcoming and just exactly how I would picture a B&B should be. And I am not a B&B person nor do I have much experience with them. Having traveled extensively domesticaly and internationally I usually have stayed in hotels, resorts, inns, etc. From the moment we drove up to the friendly introductions by Erica and Jim & Chris, we knew this place was a perfect get away for our New Years trip. We had fresh cut flowers waiting on us in our room and the room itself was great. We stayed in the Garden Room, would def recommend it to anyone that may stay here. The breakfast everyday was awesome each morning and chatting with other guests was a good experience too. Great job by everyone on the staff!

Room Tip: We stayed at the Garden Room and really enjoyed it. Has a nice private balcony also.
