This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Asheville, NC. The house is a historic 1920 home in the heart of Asheville and about 1/2 mile from the Biltmore Estate. Karen and Andy are charming hosts. The bedrooms are appointed with country furniture and unique items, many from the local area. Karen makes a fantastic breakfast. Ask her to make the orange french toast when you're in town. Andy is the safety manager at the Biltmore Estate so he can give you insider tips on what to see and do at the estate.

Andy and Karen were very accomodating and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. One drawback - you cannot lock your room when you leave it. You can only lock it from the inside. That means anyone at the B & B could come into your room when you're not in it. The owners should invest in better locks for all the room doors. I've stayed at many B & B's and this is the first time I was not able to lock my room when leaving. That made me a little uncomfortable.

I researched alot of places before choosing Corner Oak. We visit alot, and we usuallly don't book B&Bs in Asheville, because they are too expensive. But for this trip, I wanted ambience. Corner Oak is just like visiting a comfortable home and the owners were helpful and friendly,not over bearing. Delicious breakfast! My husband and I and my sister and her husband, booked 2 rooms. Highly recommended.

I struggled with what to do for my wife's 40th birthday. I found that the Corner Oak Manor not only had the best prices around for a getaway, but also offered a "murder mystery" party. We had a blast. Karen and Andy were fantastic and so helpful. Karen is a spectacular chef and Andy is hillarious. I recommend that anyone coming to Asheville, NC consider staying at the Corner Oak Manor!
