“Getaway was too short, we loved our time here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We booked a last minute one night getaway to this wonderful location in December. Literally we booked it the night before we set out. Bob was an amazing host to us and was incredibly entertaining at morning breakfast. The gentleman who helped us check in, whose name I cannot recall, was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The cottage is beautiful (especially for Christmas time!). We stayed in one of the smaller suites, the Wingate, but it was more than enough for the two of us. Overall to describe the whole experience: charming, relaxing, romantic, and quaint!

“Biltmore Village Inn Sets The Bar High! Awesome Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

This was our first stay at a B&B, and we have to say it was an awesome experience! What a wonderful weekend we spent with great people that we got to know. Bob was a wonderful host, and couldn't have been more accommodating. We were met with tasty Mimosas and lovely roses! We got to experience a broad selection of wines and some of the best food we've ever tasted!! John is an outstanding and personable top chef, and his kitchen staff was great! We were fortunate to have had the pleasure to meet many wonderful guests as well. It was as if we were spending the weekend at a friend's home. We celebrated a birthday and a surprise marriage proposal all in one weekend. With this experience, we feel like we have gained several new friends, and have found a home away from home! We can't wait to plan our next visit! Just can't say enough.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Executive Cottage, which had more than enough room. It was gorgeous!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We went for a weekend getaway without the kids, and it was even better than we expected. I was impressed from start to finish. Bob gave us the tour of the house, full of antiques he spent 20 years in Europe collecting, the wrap-around porch with a mountain view from every side, and rooms with luxurious amenities. We had inclusive wine, cheese, and coffee or tea every time we came back in from the brisk winter mountain air. Which was often, as we walked down to the village below several times during the weekend. There are several nice shops and restaurants in the village, and Starbucks warmed us up for the stroll back. I highly recommend the Inn for adults who want a quiet, relaxed place to get away, or a base to explore Asheville and the surrounding mountains. We are looking forward to any opportunity to head back again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room on the main floor with the direct porch access. If you go out there at night...

“Bedazzled by Bob's Biltmore Bed and Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Just returned from our trip to the Biltmore Village Inn and I have to say I was sad to leave! The accommodations were luxurious and cozy at the same time. The gourmet breakfast was a great way to start the day, and sharing a glass of wine with Bob the owner (and other guests that we got to know) was a wonderful way to end the day! So far, my favorite B & B experience-due mostly to Bob's hospitatlity and attention to detail. Make sure you listen to Bob's advice on things to do and places to dine~he is an expert! We will be returning to this welcoming retreat!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Reed Room, and I personally think it is the best! I like the Vanderbilt as well~bo...

“Sunny January weekend at a fabulous place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

The Inn truly lives up to it's 4 Star rating. The staff and owner are very welcoming, personable, helpful, storytelling, and makes you feel like you've chosen the right place to stay. Each 3 course breakfast was superbly cooked and presented. You had options to dine at the main table with a group or select smaller secluded tables for privacy. The mountain views were fabulous. The whole weekend was clear skies and sunny. Sunny skies made our Biltmore House visit much more spectacular, even in January.
We stayed two nights (Jan. 27-29) using a gift certificate for the "Escape to Biltmore package". We were offered an upgrade to the Executive cottage which even had a hot tub on the large deck. Our cottage was very spacious and secluded, yet a short walk to the Inn. The Inn was full that weekend and we met some very wonderful folks at the evening wine and cheese tasting as well as breakfast.

Room Tip: The Executive Cottage was spacious, private, secluded, full kitchen, borrow movies at the Inn librar...
