Used my Choice points that were about to expire. Checkin was fast & friendly. They told us about nearby restruants. Lobby had a ton of brochures. Was only 10 min. from Biltmore. Stayed on 4th floor.Pillow top King was great slept very well. Room also had a pull-out couch. Flat screen cable w/ HD. Room very nice. Towels soft & smelled great. Only bad thing was shower knob was loose & elevator was slow & had an unpleasent odor. Breakfast was only donuts & coffee but we knew that going in. Donuts were very fresh though. We'd stay there again. No problem.

Although we booked far in advance we got a tiny room for 4 adults and this was located in the basement (the motel lies on a hill, so the rooms do have windows).Receptionist was very friendly but an upgrade to a larger suite was not possible.They were sold out. In the corridor was an airdryer and indeed,when we opened the room door it smelled damp.At the first sight the room looked nicely furnitured but it was dirty.Spider cobs in every corner,cockroach in the bathroom,ants behind and on the wallpaper and other bugs.Nightmare:in the middle of the night a spider in our bed! I slept in my car.At checkout we told the receptionist about this horrible room.She stayed friendly but asked why we had not complained in the night and asked for another room. Strange-day before she said she was sold out!We left early in the morning without complementary breakfast.
Maybe the other rooms are better but run if you get a key for the basement (especially No.113!!).

Good price, but you do get what you pay for. The service was not good, as the front desk person was never available and took too long to check us in. She was outside the front of the building smoking most of the time. The room was ok.

I stayed in this hotel for a night with my boyfriend and I loved the place. It was very clean and equipped with flat screen TV and other amenties. I liked the lay out of the room and the sofa. They did not have proper breakfast, just donuts and coffee - No half and half or milk was available, just powdered creamer. I would've given them 5 stars if they have had proper breakfast! Overall clean, good hotel close to a number of fast food places and hotels.
