This hotel was clean and the bedding was nice, but the overall condition of the hotel needs some love.

We had 2 rooms, one 2 bedroom suite and 1 one bedroom suite for 3 nights. They were both clean with fully equipped kitchens. The bathrooms were an issue, trouble regulating the hot/cold and one of the commodes ran constantly. The pull out sleeper couches need replacing.

Please note that the hotel was clean and if necessary we would stay again.

I typically stay at a different hotel when I visit Asheville. But this time I decided to try the Residence Inn. I was not dissapointed. Check-in was a breeze. The king-bed room was large and very clean. The bed was absolutely wonderful and I slept better than I did in a long time. On Wednesday night, there was a free BBQ where hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, brownies and pasta salad for all guests. The hotel offers free food of different types most nights. A free breakfast every morning and hot coffee was available all night long which was great since I had to work thru the night during my stay. Also, this hotel's proximity to all the restaurants and clubs in Asheville made it easy to get to where I wanted to go. I was very pleased with the service and my complete stay.

We just arrived home from a week's stay at this Residence Inn. Because of some of the bad reviews I had read, I had also booked a room at another hotel in Asheville just in case. When we arrived, I asked to see our room before checking in. The room was "clean as a whistle" and very nice and spacious, so I cancelled our other reservations immediately. I don't know why people are writing these unfavorable reviews as we were completely satisfied with our stay. The breakfast they served was most adequate and the man (I didn't get his name) who was in charge of it did a fabulous job keeping everything well-stocked. We have stayed at this hotel before as we like the surrounding area, lots of restaurants and shops. We plan to stay again when we visit Asheville again next fall.l

I stayed here for business with a colleague in a two bedroom suite. The common area was very spacious with plenty of room for us both to work. We arrived early and were allowed to check-in to our room. After working for a few hours we went downstairs to check out the manager's reception. We were not expecting much, but there was so much food that we decided that would be our supper. We made plates that we took back to our rooms. They served chili with nachos and an assortment of salads.
The beds were very comfortable.
The next morning we had breakfast downstairs--very nice breakfast with a variety of hot items. I prepared a plate and returned to the room to make coffee and eat. The breakfast area so crowded there was no place to eat and even though it was still within the timeframe advertised for breakfast the coffee pots were empty and so was the oatmeal crockpot.
Check-out was easy and the reception staff was very friendly and helpful in giving directions and answering questions.
I would stay here again. The price of the two bedroom suite was less expensive than two rooms at any other area property. I would think this would be a great spot for a family trip or girls' trip.
