We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard recently, while the lobby area had been updated the rooms were terrible. Paint was chipping on the doorframes, the grout in the bathroom was filthy and the bathrubs were pink something left over from an older hotel. Way over priced for the quality and not up the Marriotts standards. The breakfasts were over priced as well. In addition the maid changed the towels but forgot to make the bed the two days were were there.

decent location and large room/good value. but walls are thin and heard TV fm adjacent room--interfered with trying to sleep.

Stayed here on a vacation to see The Biltmore Estate with my husband. Very good location which was within 10 minutes to everything including downtown Asheville, The Biltmore and Biltmore Village. Parking was free.
We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Looks like the rooms were recently redone.

We stayed two nights. The bed was comfortable and clean. The view was poor. (view of a roof top of the balcony below). The bathroom was just okay. The sink area was not well lit. The elevator was outside the door so there was some noise during the night. Maybe another room would have been better. As for the value, we would probably choose another hotel. The staff however was very good. The one problem that we had was delt with right away. Front desk people always greeted you.
