Owners & employees were very accommodating. Great breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again.

Cheap, but not worth saving a buck. everything dirty and breakfast was not edible.

A mile or two out of the town centre, but was convenient for the Rodeo and excellent value at £40 for the night. The room was on the ground floor and was clean and tidy. There was a comfortable king size bed, a small fridge and microwave, in-room coffee, a small table with a couple of chairs. There was a packet of dried cranberries with the coffee. In the small bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion and a razor. The washbasin was right by the door to the room. There was also an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. The TV had a cable box with over 90 channels available, including an HBO package, an ESPN package, and Speed. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good too. There was sausage, pancakes, an assortment of cereals, yoghurts, bread/toast, fresh waffles, fruit juice and coffee.

Found a deal on Days Inn website that got us a room for $50 for a Saturday night - good deal during hunting season. We knew that we were not going to be getting a five star property, and the price was indicitive of what type of accomodations and service was provided. Upon checkin, the front desk clerk, who was friendly, sat down to check me in and then announced my room number with a lobby full of guests. The room was your typical two queen bedroom, with a shower and toilet separated off via a door from the sink, which I prefer. The room was in an interesting condition, with what looked like urine stains on the sheets (we decided to use sleeping bags instead), the shower had hair from a previous guest in the tub area, the toilet seat looked like its had a few go-rounds - and lost every one of them - and had been sprayed painted numerous times. You could tell when they converted the shower rod to a curved one that they had left the screw anchors from the previous shower rod in the wall and painted right over them. I also thought it was weird that they took the time to hook up a DirecTV box on a old school 25" TV. Finally, when we intended to check out, we called down to inform them that we were departing, and no one answered. So, we went to the front desk, and no one was there. Didn't have an opportunity to sample the breakfast or other amenities. I believe there are other options for lodging in Gunnison that may work better than the Days Inn.
